Tuition & Attendance Policy
1️⃣ Monthly Membership Tuition
Enrollment at Roopali’s Kala Art Studio is structured as a monthly membership program. Tuition reserves your child’s dedicated weekly class spot and ensures continuity in our structured art curriculum.
Tuition:
60-minute weekly class: $160/month
90-minute weekly class: $200/month
Tuition remains the same regardless of the number of class days in a month and is non-refundable.
2️⃣ Spot Reservation Deposit
To secure your child’s weekly class, a one-time Spot Reservation Deposit equal to one month’s tuition is required at enrollment.
60-minute class: $160
90-minute class: $200
This deposit is applied to the last month of enrollment upon written notice of withdrawal.
The deposit also ensures your child’s spot is reserved if you are away for short-term breaks.
3️⃣ Holidays & Studio Closures
The studio follows a yearly holiday calendar, including major federal holidays and scheduled seasonal breaks.
Tuition is not prorated for scheduled holidays.
No makeups are provided for studio-closed holidays.
A yearly holiday calendar will be shared in advance.
4️⃣ Absences & Makeups
We understand that occasional absences happen:
Each student is allowed 1 makeup class per month.
Makeups must be scheduled in advance and are subject to availability.
Makeups must be used within the same calendar month.
Makeups are not provided for missed holidays or extended break periods.
5️⃣ Vacation & Extended Break Policy
For short vacations (1–2 weeks):
Tuition is not prorated.
Students may use their monthly makeup allowance.
For extended travel (2+ consecutive weeks):
A minimum two-week written notice is required.
Families may opt for a Vacation Hold to reserve their child’s spot.
Vacation Hold Fee: $50 per month.
No makeups are provided during the hold period.
Spots are guaranteed upon return.
Extended breaks exceeding 6 weeks may require re-enrollment based on availability.
6️⃣ Withdrawal Policy
If you wish to discontinue enrollment:
A 30-day written notice is required.
Tuition during the notice period remains due.
Enrollment may be subject to waitlist availability upon return.
7️⃣ Late Payments
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.
A late fee may apply after a specified grace period.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- What is the policy for a make-up class? Make up classes are offered as long as we are informed via email at least 48 hours in advance. One make up class is allowed per month.
- What happens if I forget to bring my child to class. Will I get a makeup class? No call no show is always counted as a class.
- Is the tuition per month? Yes
- Are supplies included in the tuition? We do provide some supplies but some of the material is needed from the student. The list of materials will be emailed to you after registration.
- What is the class size? We have small class sizes with a ratio of 6 students to 1 teacher.
- When is the tuition due? It is due on 1st of every month. After the 7th of every month, late fees are added to the tuition.
